Yajeeji was a Parliamentarian by core. He was Rajya Sabha member for thirteen years. As a parliamentarian, he raised the voices of poor and weaker section of society and actively participated in debates. He delivered historic speeches in Rajya Sabha. Text of some speeches as follow;
